weve been learning about food chains and I want to know what you see. Leave a comment about what role you see happening in the photos. Be sure to explain why it's important!
Today the Beginners class and my Intermediate/ Advanced class went on a science related field trip to the zoo. We've been studying animal interdependence and food webs in science and we got to see it all in action! My favorite part is seeing my students excitement of learning about and looking at animals. It's a bonus that I get to see my favorite animal too!
Just in case my 5th graders needed help with the homework this weekend, I made a little video to help you. It goes over numbers 1 to 6 and gets you started on number 7 all by yourself. I know you can do it, that's why I assigned it to you! lots of this have been happening in our classroom. Instead of telling you, I'll just show you! leave a comment to tell me what you think we've been up to!
Hope you enjoyed STAAR Camp in my classroom. Check you answers then leave a comment with your name and the number you got correct!
Weve had a busy week full of fun and learning! My students have worked hard on writing to find extra details in writing (I call them tomatoes since I HATE tomatoes) and annotate reading passages for understanding. In math, we've been learning about Fractions (4th grade) and converting measurement units(5th grade). We've also been exploring circuits and light. We ended the week with Valentines Partner plays to complete our unit on Dramas! I even had a surprise visitor, a former student! Bryan, I am so glad you came by. I miss you and hope you're doing well in middle school!
